Canvas is an on-going recording project started by Matt Sweitzer and Chris Cobel back in 1993. We've made two "official" albums... "Avenues", a double CD from 2002, and 'Digital Pigeon", from 2007. Canvas is now a network of small project studios from around the country and around the world, working together. We are currently working on our next CD.

Canvas Productions is an independent record label and recording studio, operated by Matt Sweitzer. Originally formed as a vehicle for the Canvas releases, we've grown to include other artists like October Tree and made recordings for other independent artists. Canvas Productions also produces the bi-weekly show "The Canvas Prog Hour" and offers a variety of other services such as LP and cassette conversion to CD, music tracks for other artists and some work in television and radio.
